Mustafa Yeter joined the staff of the Council in July 2017 as an expert for public finance. Prior to that, he worked at the Research Department of Corporate Taxation and Public Finance at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) in Mannheim. In his doctoral thesis at the University of Göttingen, he is analysing the effectiveness of fiscal rules and fiscal councils in confining public debt. From 2005 to 2010, Mustafa Yeter studied economics at the Free University of Berlin and Loughborough University. He was a visiting researcher at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Cambridge.
