André Diegmann joined the staff of the German Council of Economic Experts as economist for labor markets and social policy in October 2018. He worked as a researcher in the Research Department of Labor Markets, Human Resources and Social Policy at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) and in the Research Department of Labor Market Processes and Institutions at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB). André Diegmann finished his PhD at the University of Mannheim in October 2017 with his thesis entitled “Empirical Essays on Labor Economics and Digitization”. He studied economics at the University of Kassel, European Business School (EBS) in Dublin and at Rutgers University the from 2006 to 2012. His research interests include empirical labor market research, social policy and applied microeconometrics.
