Dr. Lars Other

Lars Other is Deputy Secretary General of the German Council of Economic Experts and Head of Unit for Macroeconomics. He joined the scientific staff of the GCEE as economist in June 2020. Before, he worked as research assistant at the chair of Macroeconomics at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena. In his doctoral thesis he focused on the analysis of monetary policy measures under imperfect information. Previously, he was Junior Research Affiliate at the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH) from 2019 to 2020. Between 2008 and 2014 he studied Economics at the University of Jena.
