Sebastian Weiske joined the staff of the Council as economist for macroeconomics in July 2017. Between 2011 and 2017, he was a PhD student and a research assistant at the Goethe University Frankfurt. He submitted his doctoral thesis entitled “Population Growth and Macroeconomics” in June 2017. From 2008 to 2014, he studied Economics in Berlin, Toulouse and Frankfurt. His research interests are business cycle analysis, monetary policy and demographics.
