Today Prof. Dr. Isabel Schnabel, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, received her certificate of appointment as member of the German Council of Economic Experts for the term till 28 February 2017 from State Secretary Dr. Rainer Sontowski, Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. She will succeed Professor Dr. Claudia M. Buch, who had declared her resignation from the Council due to taking office as Vice-President of the Deutsche Bundesbank.
