The German cabinet has decided to propose the reappointment of Professor Dr. Lars P. Feld, University of Freiburg and president of the Walter Eucken Institute, for the German Council of Economic Experts to the Federal President Joachim Gauck. The second term of Professor Feld would end on 28 February 2021.
Professor Feld has been a member of the Council since March 2011.
