Cabinet will propose to reappoint Achim Truger

The German Cabinet has decided to propose to the Federal President the reappointment of Prof. Dr. Achim Truger to the German Council of Economic Experts for a term of office until 28 February 2029.

Achim Truger is Professor of Socioeconomics, with a special focus on government activity and public finances, at the University of Duisburg-Essen. He was first appointed to the German Council of Economic Experts in March 2019.
