Sylwia Bialek-Gregory, Ph.D.

Sylwia Bialek-Gregory is Head of Unit for Microeconomics. She joined the scientific staff of the GCEE as environmental and energy economist in May 2021. Prior to that, she worked at the Institute for Policy Integrity at New York University, first as a postdoctoral researcher and since 2019 as an economist. Her research covers environmental regulation, natural resources, and energy markets, with particular emphasis on welfare analyses. Since 2017, she holds a Ph.D. in economics from Goethe University in Frankfurt. She received her MSc in International Relations and MSc in Finance and Banking from the Warsaw School of Economics in Warsaw, Poland.
