Annual Report 2026/27 to be published on 11 November

On Wednesday, 11 November 2026, the German Council of Economic Experts will present its Annual Report to the German government.

In addition to the economic outlook for 2026 and 2027, the Annual Report discusses how to reduce both the funding shortfalls in the federal budget and net borrowing. Another key focus is the question of how to boost the weak productivity growth of German companies.

The summary and the economic outlook as well as the press releases will be available in English on 11 November 2026 at 14.30 hrs on this website. A full translation of the report will be made available as soon as possible.
